About
Green Point Park is a little piece of paradise in the middle of the Mother City. It’s ideal for a fun day out with family or friends, school tours, family picnics, children’s birthday parties, outdoor exercise, romantic walks, and healthy activities. This carefully curated garden is composed of a rich variety of indigenous Cape flora and offers the only Biodiversity Showcase Garden of its kind.

The park features 25 000 indigenous plants, trees, shrubs, bulbs, and groundcovers, consisting of 300 different plant species. The park also features an outdoor labyrinth, adventure play park and tot-lot play park. Explore the grounds at your leisure or opt for the guided, hour-long, paid tour.

This green and grassy space is home to an array of exciting outdoor venues. From corporate functions with colleagues at Reddam Field, to cultural showcases at the amphitheatre, a trip to the Green Point Park is a great day out for school children and adults alike.
