There are a number of community centres in Cape Town, many with large halls that are ideal for public functions or private hire. Valhalla Multipurpose Centre is a popular venue available for weddings, parties, corporate functions as well as offering a variety of sports and recreational programmes. It is also a recreation hub offering a variety of extra recreational programmes during the week.
