There are a number of community centres in Cape Town, often with large halls that are ideal for public functions or private hire. Vanguard Hall is a popular community venue available for weddings, awards ceremonies, birthday parties, year-end functions and corporate meetings. There are also a variety of recreational programmes on offer.
