About

The Grand Parade has been popular as an events venue for a number of years. Because it is such a large open area, measuring 7 912 square metres, event organisers are limited only by their imagination when setting up the venue for concerts and events.

During the 2010 FIFA World Cup, it was home to the City’s official 2010 FIFA Fan Park. Thousands of fans from across the world converged on the parade every day to watch live footage of the spectacular World Cup matches. Transport to and from the Grand Parade is easier than to any other event facility in Cape Town.
