About

Cape Town is unique due to its high concentration of local flora and fauna species. Our nature reserves protect and conserve our city’s natural areas and biodiversity heritage. At the Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve, guided walks and education programmes as well as presentations are available on request. Become a volunteer and spend some time with staff at the nature reserve.
You can find the Atlantis Dunes, Strandveld vegetation and biodiversity in abundance at the reserve.
