About
Danger Beach is a popular surf spot and is so named on account of its rip tides and large waves. Swimming, however, is recommended as there is a small tidal pool. The beach is situated conveniently close to St. James train station in the False Bay area. The small strip of beach is accessed through a subway beneath the railway. Be sure to visit the nearby Octopus’ Garden Restaurant & Wine Bar. The trendy suburb of Kalk Bay is also just a short walk along the main road and offers a variety of restaurants and shops.

Only animals on duty are allowed on the beach.
