Tijgerhof Residents Association - Tijgerhof, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

The objectives of the TRA are as follows:

● To promote and protect the interest and welfare of the members of TRA, members of the community, ratepayers, residents and landowners in the Tijgerhof area.

● To promote property ownership and the rights of property owners in the area of Tijgerhof. This will include, but not be limited to ensuring the enforcement of all relevant legislation and rules pertaining to land use, and the development of land in the area of Tijgerhof.

● To promote safety and security within the community via amongst others, and assist the neighbourhood watch, CPF etc., in creating an environment for safer and cohesive living with the secondary objective of maintaining & increasing property values.

● To stimulate and foster Tijgerhof residents, businesses, schools & sports clubs interest in civil affairs and affairs of the community.

● To advance and safeguard the interest of Tijgerhof, protecting the identity and traditions of the area.

● To strive for efficient and progressive municipal administration and services of Tijgerhof and the municipal ward/s where the members of TRA are residents.

● To consider the nominations of and if deemed necessary to support candidates of the City of Cape Town / Blaauwberg Administration / Blaauwberg Subcouncil, local school governing bodies and boards or any other public organisations directly associated with the outcomes impacting residents of Tijgerhof.
